Project Background
This project was developed to treat biogas generated from sewage and wastewater treatment processes. The objective was to safely collect, treat, and manage biogas produced during anaerobic digestion, improving energy recovery while ensuring operational safety and environmental compliance.
Project Scope
Design and construction of a sewage biogas treatment plant, including biogas collection, conditioning, and treatment facilities integrated with the wastewater treatment process.
System Description
The biogas treatment plant is designed to handle biogas produced from sewage sludge digestion. The system includes biogas collection, moisture and impurity removal, pressure regulation, and safe handling of treated biogas for utilization or controlled disposal. The plant is engineered for stable operation under variable gas production rates.
Key Functions
· Collection of biogas generated from sewage treatment processes
· Removal of moisture and contaminants from raw biogas
· Stabilization of biogas quality and pressure
· Safe utilization or controlled flaring of treated biogas
· Compliance with environmental and safety regulations
